Industrial Automation • PLC Programming • System Integration

Building automation systems that are reliable, clear, and ready for real production environments.

I design and implement structured automation solutions with a strong focus on PLC architecture, safety, visualization, diagnostics, and practical usability. My goal is to deliver systems that not only work reliably, but also look professional, are easy to understand, and are built for long term use.

About

A short introduction to my background, working style, and technical focus.

I am an automation engineer with a strong interest in modern industrial systems, clear program structure, and professional technical execution. My work combines PLC programming, HMI development, safety integration, diagnostics, commissioning, and practical solutions for real machines and test environments.

I care about systems that are understandable, robust, and easy to work with for operators, technicians, and customers. That includes clean logic, thoughtful visualization, and solutions that are not only technically correct, but also well presented.
PLC Engineering

Structured logic design, modular function blocks, sequencing, diagnostics, and reusable architectures.

Visualization

Clear and professional WinCC HMIs focused on usability, transparency, and presentation quality.

System Integration

Connecting controllers, devices, safety concepts, and higher level data infrastructure in a practical way.

Selected Projects

Examples of automation projects covering test systems, safety, legacy integration, visualization, and machine control.

R&D Automation Wall

R&D Platform

Modular multi controller platform for structured testing, device integration, and practical development workflows in an R&D environment.

What I contributed
  • Built a structured multi PLC platform with Siemens and Beckhoff controllers for testing and development tasks
  • Created a clear functional concept so customers and internal users can work with the system more easily
  • Improved readability and maintainability through clean program structure and reusable logic blocks
  • Supported commissioning, testing, and practical use of the platform as an engineering tool
Technologies: Siemens S7 1500, Beckhoff, SCL, structured function planning, commissioning workflow

  • Designed a professional WinCC visualization focused on clarity, usability, and demonstration quality
  • Added JavaScript enhancements for advanced HMI behavior and smoother user interaction
Technologies: Siemens S7 1500 Failsafe, PROFIsafe, WinCC, SCL, JavaScript

Legacy PLC to Modern Infrastructure Bridge

Digitalization

Practical integration concept for connecting older automation systems to modern data infrastructure without replacing the entire machine.

What was implemented
  • Established PUT and GET communication between S7 300 and S7 1200 controllers to transfer machine data
  • Sent process values through OPC UA to SQL Server for centralized storage and further processing
  • Used the collected data actively in Power BI for evaluation, transparency, and analysis
  • Enabled a practical retrofit concept where key parameters can be adjusted centrally from a PC
Technologies: Siemens S7 300, Siemens S7 1200, PUT and GET, OPC UA, SQL Server, Power BI

Automation Test Box for SPC D and RPC D Controllers

Testing System
